Speed Drawing a Character

I have always thought that an artists work-progress is a very personal and private thing, so I hesitated a little when my colleagues proposed to do some speed drawing videos. I don't even like when people watch me draw! But in the end, I think it wasn't a bad idea, it's kinda fun to watch these characters come to life...

This illustration is on the cover of the first-grade schoolbooks we've worked on this summer. It is a combined math and science book, hence the bubbles with the numbers and nature stuff.
